Building our ISO 27001:2022 Foundation course was not about ticking compliance boxes. It was about making sense of the jargon, avoiding the dull bits, and adding real‑life context to every module.
☕ Behind the Scenes of the Build
From writing scripts that (hopefully) make you want to keep reading, to creating workbook activities that are actually useful, this course became my own little cyber kitchen.
There were moments — usually around the fifth cup of coffee — where risk management felt like shorthand for losing the will to live.
But every challenge made the course stronger.
And the coffee, significantly stronger too.
✅ What We Built It to Do
The goal was simple.
To make ISO 27001 something you can:
- Understand
- Apply
- Use confidently in the real world
No translating from Martian required.
The course focuses on practical examples, clear explanations, useful exercises, and just enough humour to keep things human.
